Christmas 2009

Here's my mom hanging an ornament on the tree and telling a memory, one of my favorite traditions!

Here's a picture of Spence putting the star on the tree. Who needs a ladder when you've got Doug!

The kittens loved to climb in the Christmas tree...and pull off half of our ornaments :)

Here's Mel and Josh's friend Amanda talking with Josh on the phone when got his "Christmas call" on the mission. We missed having him home for Christmas!

Spence is an awesome little athlete...and I have cool socks, so we made a great team!

I'm just grateful that I'm still taller than Spence...for now.

Mel and I goofing around.

This is our French Chef face... or something like that.

Mel teaching Spence how to play violin.

Spence made Dad do his hair like a seventh grader :)

Mom with her cute chickens!

One of our favorite activities was going sledding - meaning that we'd pull sleds all over the property with the four wheeler.

Mel and I doing a girlie sledding pose - who knew that was possible :)

Here's Spence hitting a jump!

Doug and I taking a nice slow ride...possibly because we weighed the four-wheeler down so much.

Here's Mel and Spence standing up...

and falling down :) Cool trick.

More tricks.

I think Mel and Spence had more fun posing for the camera than sledding :)

Zions National Park

My family all met up in Zions National Park for my Grammy's 70th birthday and we had a great time!

We all went for a horseback ride around the canyon

Mel & Spence playing in the river

Mom and Dad on the park bus
Little monkeys!

Spencer was obsessed with catching frogs and lizards. He got pretty good at it!

Doug climbed into the tree and tied a swing, and my siblings had a ball playing on it..although I think my Dad may have had even more fun :)
